Cigar Box #15

I really, really love how the outside turned out on this one!  The inside,'s just OK.

I mixed two different blingie swirlie thingies.  The paper is from the Mariposa 12x12 Stack.

It's a gift.  Can't wait to give it!

Magical Monday - Just Say Hello

This week's challenge at There's Magic In The Air with Paper Cupcakes is: Just Say Hello.

The challenge is to make a card/project to a new teacher, neighbor, friend, etc...anybody you want to just say hello to.

For my card, I used the "freebie" Paper Cupcakes image "Greetings," colored it with Copics, and added googly eyes :)

Roll Tide! (Cigar Box #14)

A friend of mine asked me if I could make a box for her good friend who is an Alabama fan.  I said...better yet, come over to my house and I will show "you" how to make it!

Here are the results of our play date :)

You can check out my Maryland box here.  Next...need to find papers to do a Caps box.  Now having much luck.  Any suggestions?

I was published! Again!

It's so much fun to get the big white envelope in the mail from Scott Publications because that means you have at least one card published in their current magazine, and here is your complimentary copy - you're welcome!  This is my second time in a Just Cards! magazine...yay!

I actually have FOUR cards in the Just Cards! Holidays Volume 4 2012 issue.

Three Christmas and one Happy New Year.  (In person, you can see the texture and details better.)

Here's a close up of "Beary Christmas" so you can appreciate the humor :)

Magical Monday - Decorate with Doilies

So, this week's challenge at There's Magic In The Air with Paper Cupcakes is: Decorate with Doilies.

The challenge is to make a card using a doily, whether it be a purchased paper doily, die cut doily, or stamped image of a doily.

For my card, I used the new Paper Cupcakes round sentiment image "Friends" with a store-bought paper doily. I printed out the sentiment in a couple of different sizes, cut it with a Spellbinder Circle Die and popped it on the front of the doily.  Super easy card to make.
