Operation Write Home Easter Cards

Operation Write Home recently put out a Challenge to make Easter cards with a deadline of March 7th.  So I made 10 different cards using the same copic-colored digital image.

Wow...just noticed how crappy the colors look from my scanned images.  Guess I should have photographed them.  There is no lavendar in the ribbon and the pinks are all more vibrant.  Oh well, you get the idea.

Happy Birthday Mason!

My dear friend's young son is an avid hockey fan and now player!  After giving her the third degree about what are his favorite teams, and what color winter coat he wears, I decided to go with the colors of his personal coat, rather than the colors of any of his favorite teams.

I hadn't colored with the Copics in a while, and it kind of shows as I had some blending issues, but we are our own worst critics, I guess.  Anyway, I hope he likes it :)

Supplies used:

Image:  Stampavie "Henry Playing Hockey"
Copic Markers
Silver glitter marker
White Liquid Applique
DCWV "The Winter Magic Matstack"
Stampin' Up! Ribbon Slides

Peaceful Wishes

This was my 2013 Christmas Card.   The inspiration came from a card I saw on Pinterest.  The image is from the Stampin' Up! retired set called Peaceful Wishes - which I don't have.   I was fortunate enough to be able to borrow the set from a good friend.
