Christmas Cards Stamp Camp

Our first Christmas Card Stamp Camp hosted by Sandi of Sandi Loves Stamping!

Love the lamp post technique!  Plus I seem to be into punch art lately :)

So, to make the top of the lamp post, you use the Stampin' Up! Petite Pennants Punch.  The outside is the larger pennant, and the inside light is the smaller pennant.  So, punch the smaller pennant in white card stock and sponge it with Crushed Curry.  Then you take a piece of velum (larger than the punch size);  cover it with VersaMark and heat emboss the entire piece with Iridescent Ice embossing powder; then punch it with the smaller pennant.  When you place the punched velum over the sponged card stock, it looks like the light is shining through.  The top of the lamp post is the Curly Label Punch cut in half.  Genius I tell you!

I CASEd this great manly punch art card from this card I found on Pinterest.  I used the orange and black color scheme for my Harley Dude :)

Supplies used:

1/2" Circle Punch (Stampin' Up!)
Diamond Plate Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug)
Silver Card Stock
Orange Card Stock

White Card Stock
"Nuts About You" stamp set (Stampin' Up!)
Silver metal dimensional stickers
Black ink

Then I made some more variations.

Groucho Punch Card

How fun is this card?!  It's totally CASEd from this card I found on Pinterest.  I am missing one of the circle punch sizes used on the original, so I improvised with a couple different sizes.

Update:  See tutorial posted here.

Fun Folds & Techniques Class

Check out these awesome cards we made at a recent Fun Folds & Techniques Class held by Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Sandi Hartka (Sandi Loves Stamping).

I would have never thought to color the white embossing (flower) with alcohol markers!

Just beautiful!

Lotus Blossom

Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration is over!  One of the free items I chose was the Lotus Blossom stamp set.

For the 3-step blossom I chose: Step 1: Early Espresso. Step 2: Soft Suede.  Step 3: Sahara Sand.  The 2-step stem is Sahara Sand and Early Espresso.
